Ok guys, I was trying to mount my CD player in my glove box tonight, and everything is kosher, but when I tested it, the "CODE" came on my radio. No prob, I'll type it in and be done. But it wouldn't accept it. And my anti-theft light isn't blinking when the key is out. Does anyone know what is going on? It's a '98 D1, if that is relevant.

Go back through you manual and make sure you are putting the code in right and that the code you are putting in is right.
Don't really know what else to tell ya.

Leave your ignition on (not running) for over an hour before trying it again.

I have the same damn problem...disconnect the power, reconnect it- enter your code, and it won't accept it....if you find the fix Adam...please post what to do, if I do, I'll do the same.
Have you tried Tommys suggestion???
Talked to dealer service department twice...might as well be talkin to myself.

Been there, done this. I gave up after months of fighting and bought an aftermarket stereo. Sorry guys!

Oh yeah, the only thing I was able to accomplish on mine was setting the alarm off, inside Circuit City's installation bay!

pull the radio out and get the serial # off of it then call your local dealer and find out the correct code. If you hold the band button in until the radio beeps it will clear the memory.
