i wish I had a nickle for every time someone asked

WHY?

because toys are fun ,building them is the most fun and because when you build your own toy you never see another like it.

a friend of mine has a 600hp 4x4 ghia mustang. he has 40grand into it. and he will never see another like it...ever

look at the lower right hand corner of that linked pic...600hp is conservative

randy is a true 4x4 nut case. he has a reputation as the hydroplanner...he can wheel his rigs across the top of open water for hundreds of feet...not through...on top hydroplanning. as he puts it is easy the tires go 125mph the vehicle about 80mph and it hydroplanes across open water. it is truley a sight to see. it looks like he is driving across a puddle.just really fast

when randy took "black thunder" his 750hp 67 bronco to fourwheelers top truck he ran a 12sec 1/4 mile .then he hit the tank trap at about 70mph and went right over it. then they said that was cheating and he needed to "drive" through it.they had stated that the water would be a maximum of 36" deep it was 60" deep and he ruined a $9000 427ci windsor block motor . then they allowed the sniper to drive down the side of the tank trap?. then they allowed all the other competitors to pass the tank trap to avoid running out of competitors. in the end they wanted the sniper to win. Randy ended up writing for fourwheeler ever since, he has done a number of project trucks for them over the years. such as there project TJ and project MPG. his project MPG was pretty cool he tracked about 2 dozen milleage related mods on a V10 f350 centurion.
