I am going to fix the rear passenger door locking mech once and for all. I assume the actuator has gone out or, like my headlight, has a spider or mouse making a nest in there shorting it out. My worry is the door panel. Anything wierd I should know about taking it off and putting it back on? I don't want extra rattles or strange gaps between the door and the panel when I try to put it back on. Anyone who has taken theirs off, give me some advice before I do it, thanks. http://landrover.mrbaileyshistory.net |

the biggest thing with pulling off any door panels.. is try to do this in a heated garage with the panels as warm as possible.. if you try prying the grommet off when its cold.. the panel and grommets can shatter & break... also just as a precaution.. purchase some of these grommets to have handy.. some will shear and break no matter the temp... |

The clips are shitty and almost always fall apart. Recommend purchasing new ones. I think it was almost 15 clips on the panel |
