Matt, I own the same system as he is selling. Trust me, it's top of the line; for 200 it's a steal. And "starter" unit? Well, you're talking more like as good as it gets. Electronic 3-axis compass, expandable up to 64 megs, 9 different nav screens--the list goes on and on. Zoom from 1700 miles out to 100 feet, so you can really see those 4x4 trails. There are really no cons to it, except for the fact that it has no external antenna, but that's ok; I can pick up 6 satellites with that thing while I'm a half-mile deep in a cave. It's great. Only advice I have is this: Buy it. Adam Ross |
