Today, when filling up my 03 disco, i could not close the gas filler door. Usually, I can just push it closed and it latches, but now it no longer latches. So, it is just flapping in the wind as I drive down the road. Ive played around with it a bit, and cannot find anything that is broken. Has anyone else had a problem with this ? any quick easy fixes before I take it to the dealer? Thanks Will |

This happens all the time. Have the dealer install a new gas door clip. The clips loose the tension in the plastic and will not stay closed. Sometimes they are also bent at the clip arm and they fly open but normally the clip is the culprit. |

Happened on mine but it was a missing gromet on the little pin on the body side of the vehicle that holds the door. |
