gp,

For a youngster, you sure are sounding like a dirty old man. Not only that, you're an enabler, too! LOL!

Karen :) P.S. I saw the Olsen twins on a magazine cover yesterday and thought of you. Sick, sick, on so many levels! ;)

Tough question. If I really enjoyed my job I don't think I'd spend as much time as I do on D-web. However, I enjoy my job in that it allows me to spend as much time on D-web as I do. Does that make any damn sense?

Yes, I like my job. Yes, I think I should be paid more, lol, I can always grouse about the state being bad on pay raises, etc., but......

I like the work, I work with good people, it's in a good location, nice office (small, but not a cubicle) and a good view.

I do earn better than my age, but, if I don't start getting raises, I won't for long.... kinda bites when you get these "exceptional" employee ratings, but the state can't fund the meritorious pay raises the way they said they would in the legislation...

But, I do get good holidays, leave, benefits, and decent job security. I won't leave it, unless it's a REALLY good offer ($$$$)....

Yes I love my job. I love cars so much and I just drive them, and some of the nicest cars out there. I love to work outside, its a bit cold in the winter, but I just hop in another car. And it is always nice to have fun with cars and drive them the way they should be driven....

That's a hard question for me to answer since I don't have a job right now. I guess my current job is to find a job, and I don't particularly like that :(

I think I have a cool job. I travel all over the planet, get to play with very very expensive toys...http://www.boeing.com/rotorcraft/military/v22/v22photos.htm

Hmmm what else....get a decent check every 14 days and get to answer email all day long from certain DWEB Folks. You would laugh at some of the questions I get asked about incorporating aerospace crap into Rover Crap. For Example (I'll leave the innoecent nameless):

One dude wanted to incorporate F-14 style switches into his Rover for lights. I think that guy likes the Steelers. This other dude and I carried on a disimiliar metal corrosion conversation for about 4 hours and was looking for a power pack to bend some tube. That guy is rumored to live in Maryland somewhere.

Before I wired the Hellas onto the Pig, I had the entire schematic drawn out on a huge ass dry-erase board and a bunch on Avionics engineers spent 2 weeks reminding me how simple the drawing was and that there needs to be some computers thrown into the mix somewhere. Got to love aerospace.

I travel around alot, and for the most part love my job. I get to meet alot of people that I really don't care if I ever see again, and get to drive the Rover into crap that everyone else is walking through. Can't wait until morning, supposed to go from here (Knoxville, TN to Asheville, NC) and it's snowing pretty heavily right now. Can't say that I won't try it though.. Ummmmmm, Olsen twins

I enjoy mine. Travel alot, 30 days paid vacation every year, three day weekend every month, off every holiday and will retire in my early forties as long as I don't get shot down first.

No, no and hell no. I don't know how I got talked into dealing with computers and networks. Maybe it was when those people were telling me about all the money you could make in IT. The forgot to tell you that you had to sit in a boring cubicle all day and stare at a bloody computer. AARRGGHH. What I wouldn't give to be back out in the field!

As for you freaks and your fetishs with the Olson twins .... how about picturing them when they were playing that cute little girl on Full House. There, that should throw some ice on your dirty little minds.
