which transfer case does it have? If LT230, its probably an 88, if a BW case, probably an 89 |

The Borg Warner has the viscus drive coupling, right? I also have the single axis H/L shifter, which would make it a BW, correct? -bob- |

yea, the Borg Warner has the viscous coupling..... And, if you can only shift from H-L, its a BW. So, to answer your original question, your truck is more than likely 89 |

Look at the VIN for a definite answer. If the 10th character is a "J", then it is an 88, "K" is an 89, "L" is a 90, etc... |
