Ha anyone experienced a bad crank sensor? Other than a bad one causing your D1 not to start, what else can it cause? I understand that it works with the ECU which in turn works with the coil pack. Any experiences or thoughts. My D1 is still sputtering under load and I am out of options. Not fuel delivery, not exhaust. |

Did you check for valve stick, VERY common problem in the LR. Valve stick normally shows up under load when more heat is generated in the cylinder head. |

I get Misfire codes, which I know can indicate valve problems. However, with carbed up valves I thought you usually would have smokey exhaust. My exhaust is smoke free. Do you simply remove the valve cover to check for sticky valves? I haven't even considered VSS since it happens at low speeds....30 MPH. I thought VSS problems occurred at HWY speeds. Right?? |

my latest vss problem was at all speeds under light cruise mostly . such as decelerating before braking into a corner. under hard acceleration it would go away. |

Mine will almost die under hard acceleration. |
