Just ordered Rovertym's 2" body lift and just checking if anyone out there has tried it yet. Is the two people, six hour regular hand tools selling point too optomistic? |

I have it, as well as a buddy of mine we both really like it, it's cheap and easy clearance. Now its sawzall time for my Disco ;) Jon |

Yeah Brian i have it and i can get you some pics posted up here tomorrow. I put the lift on by myself on the hottest day of last summer. It took about 9 hours for just me doing it, so yeah the 2 man 6 hour thing would be good. Tools that i used came out of a basic craftsman set. I'd wash under your truck the day before you do the lift if you do much mud riding, I thought i'd be blind for life after 8 hours of dirt falling in my eyes. Its not hard, I put it on without any experience with any body lifts. The instructions are awesome to, just make sure you know a good welder because you have to get him to lengthen your steering shaft. Thats enuff of that, but i'll get you the pics tomorrow, i should have done a tech section thing about it. That woulda been cool. I have a digital camera now. |
