Damn, there you people go again, making me feel like I don't fit. Many would define me as a liberal.

My answer?
BANG BANG

But if it were a 45, it might just be:
BANG

I'm a cheap SOB and don't want to waste ammo.

As I a consrvative, I think Tom's answer would be better: BANG BANG

Better to just do the double-tap and make sure he's down for good.

Yes, I think we can have some bi-partisan agreement there. As another conservative I'll go with the double tap every time....and that's with my .45 :) Ammo's not as expensive as not finishing the job and facing a civil lawsuit.

yes, double tap and observe.... don't forget the 21 ft rule: a person with an edeged weapon can reach you in 11 seconds and deal a fatal wound to you if you don't stop them...

Jaime,
Not Politically Correct.
The daughter should've emptied HER Glock and then ask her daddy about her grouping!

Jake, doesn't take an edged weapon. Read some stuff about the Lethal Force Institute.
One example. Cop blew away half a guy's head. The man then walked down a flight of stairs, out doors, got his gun from his car and turned to reenter the building. Only then did he drop. Luckily for the cop, the man did not have his gun when he was shot.

The guy was probably all hopped up on pcp and morphine. I have read a poice report one time about officers trying to take down a guy all fucked up on pcp and the officers statement was suspect seamed to have the strength of several men after 3 officers could not wrestle the man down the 2 dogs were released on the suspect with the intention of bringing him down. Still with no luck the each officer shot the man mutiple times in the chest finnally detaining the suspect he died 6 hours later in the hospital

I'm not sure if this is totatly true because I read this report on the internet but I do know first hand what PCP can do to you and I would believe it

just being stupid and maybe a little too observant

It is 10 bangs since the shooter is limited to ten rounds by the 94 crime bill

Depends what gun you're carrying. It's still perfectly legal to carry a pre-ban gun with inlimited clip capacity. I carry a Glock model 30, .45 ACP. It has 10 round clips, but it's a bit tight stuffing more than 9 into it, so I usually just load 9.

Alright Ken, another person from PA who wears Lucheses. Which ones do you have? I have two pairs of Lucheses 2000. Love them.

Another conservative doing a double tap here.

!!!!Don't read any further if you are a squeamish male!!!!

I've seen first hand how drugs can make you impervious. When I was doing ER and ICU work a kid was brought in totally whacked on PCP and god knows what else (eventually put away with permamnt brain damage) But while in our care we had to insert a catheter. For those who don't know, this tube go's up the urethra into the bladder, then a bulb is inflated on the end (about 1/2 to 3/4" dia) to keep it from slipping out. Well..this guy got one hand out of his restraint, and pulled the catheter out.

Can you say ouch?

On rec.guns, a number of afganastan vets have commented about how many shots with the 9mm side arm it takes to take down someone with a mouthful of khat.
