This afternoon I cranked up my '89 RRC, and when I lowered the e-brake, the light didn't go off. I put it in "N" and rolled a little, pulled it up and stoped, I then put the e-brake down and began to roll, so I know it wasn't on while driving. I have figured out that the light will go out if I hit the brakes hard, but then anywhere from 10 seconds to 3 minutes it comes back on. When the e-brake is pulled up the light is brighter than it is when it's down. I don't know if the cold has effeceted it, its been snowy, and no higher than 40 degrees here for the past few days. Any input is greatly appreciated.

that light will also come on if you are low on fluid.

check your brake fluid resivoir and see if you are low on fluid ... also it could be that the electric switch is faulty ... if you havent used your rover for awhile than more than likely you have a fluid leak some where and the fluid is low.. |

you can get the fluid at the automotive parts supplier.... check your owners manual for the type |
