Anybody use a yakima rack on a DII? I want to get that system for it but I don't know if the rain gutter attachment clears the factory roof rails. I don't want to attach the rack to the factory roof rails so I want to use the rain gutters.

Though the yakima fit guide says the 1A hi-rise towers should fit, they don't. They rub against the dome of the roof in the back. I ended up using Thule super high foot towers and racks. They fit great.

i really don't care for the thule product, also i already have alot of yakima acces. the 1a high rises is accually ment for the front of the roof, which i think looks horible, so i got extention bar to add onto the extisting factory rack, and went with yakamas low rider towers, it works out nice!! |

Buy the Thule - i spent about three hours trying to get those damn yakima racks to fit - they don't. You will be able to install the Thule in about 30 minutes. |
