Heh, 2 days left on the auction and only 18k bid so far. There's a 93 with 50k miles on it already bid at $40k with 2 days left. I wonder if the idiot who decided to do that had any idea how much of the truck's resale value he was throwing away 
Might be a good way to get into a new Hummer cheap, if anyone had any idea what restoring it would cost. Of course the seller probably has the reserve set around $60k thinking this thing is a gem |

I would offer $25k then sue for emotional distress because of the embarassement of being near it or the thought of someone seeing me in it.
Well, you can get entire nose pieces from DRMO (http://www.drms.dla.mil/) for a really good price...its all just fiberglass anyways and simply paint over the camo with the civilian color (Well, maybe you would want to keep the radar absorbing radiated military paint). Tear off the side skirts and the hideous looking rear bumper that appears to be off a motorhome then put on one of those sweet brush guards that goes up and over the hood. Easily do it all for under $5k. Of course being only two they might go for a ridiculously high price. But then again everytime someone adds a sticker or modifies their vehicle in someway it becomes "one of a kind" so who really cares. |
