Hi, I just purchased a TJM Front and Rear Bumper for my D1. I went about installing the rear bumper yesterday, but the instructions were not very clear. Has anyone completed the install of the TJM rear bumper on their D1? If so, would you mind if I asked a few questions? I am unsure how the angle bracket is fitted, and what needs drilled? I have it bolted on somewhat, and so far it looks great. I just want to get it right however. Thanks,

Aaron

P.S-Got a great deal on T17 front and the rear bumper from thatchedroofgargage.com here in Kingsport, TN--Thanks Dave!

David Gage rules!!!
But i got mine from EE through Torasport They all rule too!... What do you need to know? It's a line it all up arrangement then spot and drill the extra holes.. Pretty much a pita with one guy! Bolt it up with the stock mounting bolts just snug then bolt on (To the bumper) the angle brackets with the long leg of the angle facing the inside of the truck snug them up and drill two 9/16 holes one on each frame rail. then you can use those crafty nuts on wires to snake down the inside of the frame rail to bolt them up.. IF you have a pre 97 otherwise you'll have to drill a huge hole in the end of the frame rail to get th enut through because teh rails are sealed on later trucks.

Thanks for your replies--As soon as I get the angle brackets fitted and bolted to the frame, it'll be set. The reason I bought from David Gage--besides the great price--is the fact that I live in Kingsport, and I'm just doing my part to support out local economy :) I do appreciate this website, and EE's website for the wealth of information I have received. This is my first Land Rover experience, and if this resource didn't exist, I probably would have ended up selling the Disco, and getting a J**P! Thanks again.
