I dont get it? why does someone building a really well thought out rig designed for a particular purpose make them a moron?

this is kinda bullshit that guys over here always bitch about what guys on pirate do to a "perfectly good rover"

i'll bet that thing crawles right over a stock defender.

people live and let live! the fun part of 4x4's and wheeling is seeing all the different ways people fix up there vehicles. that one is a really cool purpose built rock crawler.

knocking it reaks of jelousy and sour grapes

i copied that thread last night and added it to my permenaent archives because it so impressed me.

then again that must make me a moron

yeah i completely copied the wrong link.. sorry... The 109 is from Austrailia.. with a straight 6 in it.. very neat truck.. some OME suspension additions and lights.. but basically a stock truck.. the best part of this story.. the 109 drove home and the RR classic started and ran the next am with some drying out of electrical parts.. other than some fluid changes.. both trucks are no worse for their wear...

As for someones comment about my title.. Rover Morons... its not be being critical of them.. it was actually what the guys called themselves in getting stuck in the water when it was blowing 30 knots and 5 degrees...

Now that is funny! After the original post, I kept going to the first thread and thinking, "that's a big ass rig, but I don't think he's a moron!"
