Losing steering fluid

Author Message   Patrick Hartigan (Patrick) Posted on Monday, January 27, 2003 - 04:35 pm:    I filled the steering resevoir 3k miles ago when I had an oil change. It is low again and the lines appear fine. Any ideas where it could be going? Also, i'm having difficulty starting, not just when it's cold. what's the going rate for a new starter? In my case the steering box leaks like a sieve... As for starting problems check all the usual stuff like cables (at the starter too) if the starter is no good save up and get a Mean Green
