Since I installed this new bumper, I had sacrificied the stock hella fog lights on my DII.

ARB has couple holes where I can mount the lights. Is this too high for the fog lights?

And would you get the round or rectangular type, and clear or amber?

Thanks.

Hmmm.. since I havent got any responses, I assume it's alright to mounted on the bumper.

But anyhow, I might just go ahead and get them. Looking at differnt types of fog lights. I came up with three types that I like. Here are the ones I found, and like:

1. Hella FF50... about $70/pair
2. IPF S6313.... about $160/pair
3. PIAA 510 .... about $200/pair

Choice 1 is rather cheap.. looks good too. I dont know why 2 and 3 are so expensive. Anybody have these lights? Opinions... opinions... please.

I like the IPF Lamps... The quality is better than the Hella's and the mounting is better. Ideally the lower the lamp the better it will work in Fog. I used the upper mounts for the IPF mid Range driving lamps since we don't get a lot of weather on the front range of northern CO any more. But I'm more interested in night vision in "regular" weather. I will for the sake of having some mount some "sacrificial" lamps under the bumper at some point... Some Wally world specials... Maybe they'll pivot up nicely so the spotter can see the rocks in the trail on night runs :0

IPF is solid. I have the ARB and the IPF (square) 900's that are 130w and they are great. And the most important part is that with these lights, the bar protects the entire light!
