Anyone see the Disco II doing a 180 or more, backwards, on some new NBC show that will probably flop after the first week because it really looked terrible, but they did have a Rover?

They probably tried it in a Ford first, but kept getting rolled over.

Also, that new series War Stories, has a Series IIa in it. And the stupid one with an Aussie mopping a kitchen. And The Sum of All Fears (should never have been made) but it did have a Series IIa, and a FC 101. The Bourne Identity has two Range Rovers in it, they crash the Classic - keep the 4.6!

Any more? (recent ones)

There was a commercial for a new video game (London Underground...I think???) that is pretty much British thuggery, Grand Theft Auto style.

The commercial rocked. There was an early 90's RRC plowing through a load of cars on a busy city street. The guys in the Rover jump out and yank some poor bloke out of one of the "target" cars and proceed to beat the crap out of him. 'Freeze frame' of three guys pounding on a helpless chap, then fade into a screen shot of the video game where they are doing the same.

The is called The Getaway and it is a British version of Vice City. Two of the cars you can drive in this game are a Range Rover from the mid 1970's and a Range Rover with Bull Bars from the mid 1980s. Game looks really cool.

Jason,
I don't have it but I want to get it. I might see if I can rent it at the video store this weekend.

There's also that credit card commercial where the huge snowball rolls down the street. It pops a Discovery at one of the intersections. I let my girlfriend talk me into seeing "Don't Say a Word" on HBO the other night because there was a Land Rover in it.
