Its got chrome in the A-bar section, with fog lights too.. At first I thought it was a stock bumper for Toyota, because of the fog lights, and its matching color. Then I saw the ARB sticker.

This would be awesome if it's made for a DiscoII. Anyone know about this?

You can have one too!!

Seriously, I think I've seen the chrome A-bar for DIIs on eBay, don't know about the ARB...

No John, this is not just the A-bar that's attached to the stock bumper.. but the ARB bumper with the chrome A-bar, and built in fog lights.

They make similar ones for those mercedes suvs also. (the yuppie ones, not the Gs) they might not have an A bar part but they are definitly a replacement bumper that can hold a winch.

Response from ARB:
---------------------------

Thank you for your e-mail and interest in ARB. Yes, there is a Sahara
Bar
planned for the Series III Land Rover Discovery. Our objective is to
design
a Sahara Bar that will suit both the Discovery II and Discovery III,
but the
vehicle has only just reached our shores therefore we need a little
more
time to work on it.

Please keep in contact with your ARB distributor to confirm when this
bar is
ready, if you don't know your local ARB distributor, please forward
your
contact details so we can put you in touch with them.

Best Regards,

Lachlan McCann

There are chrome trim pieces that it will match on the Cruiser, but none on the disco! Even then, I have to agree w/Garrett "YUK"

Kim,

I have seen a lot of crome bumpers rust. Especially if it gets scratched, dinged, dented. Pricey to repair too I think.

Discovery III? WTF? It gets new headlights and 4.6 and a bunch of unseeable fixesand it's suddenly a Series III? I don't think so....LR doesn't call it a Series III so ARB shouldn't either! bastards
