Well I know that Michael Slade (the guy w/ "the box") is anxiously awaiting my findings and others might be interested as well so here it goes. I have been running 235/85 BFG M/Ts for 7.2K miles (originally thought it was less but I found where I wrote the milage down) and they wouldn't stay balanced for shit so I bit the bullet and bought the equal. I had no problems getting the tire shop to do it, they had actually ever heard of the stuff before, I had them remove the old lead weights and while the tires were off the rims I had them flip the white letters in now that I have all my rubbing issues worked out (yes, I have seen the light!!!!). I also switched the left side tires to the right and vice-versa so that they are still rolling in the same direction. When I pulled out of the shop and onto the highway it felt like my wheels were going to fall off but the bags soon broke and all was good. Hit the Interstate and brought it up to 70 mph and it was the best ride I have ever had in the truck w/ those tires. So there you have it, Equal works even if your tires have already been balanced w/ weights. |

Odd question: Does the product "settle" every night or every time you stop for long periods? I would hate the WOBBLE SHAKES and VIBES every time I drive the truck. |
