Does anyone know if I can use the D2 windshield washer fluid in my '96 D1. I really like the new look of the D2's washer fluid and it seems to clean the windows so much better. I am just not sure of the compatability of this "new" mixture in my Rover. Thanks in adavnce

I heard you also have to change the D1 Blinker Fluid to the D2 mixture in order for the new D2 windshield washer mixture to work.

The new fluid contains a chemical that breaks down the material in the fluid pump as well as the lines on the DI. You really have to be careful as to which fluid you use especially since the fluid is extremely flammable and could cause an engine fire!

if im not mistaken the gas goes in the door on the right rear side,at least on my old, plain, leaking, etc d1.maybe the d2 fuel door will fit my d1 and make it all better.

No, the people on this board are not serious. This board is populated by pompous ediots who do not respect others opinions. They think it is humorous to post messages that belittle others. The biggest biggot on this site is Carter Simcoe. He believes that his way is the only way. If he were to disrespect me in person the way he does others on this site, I would kick the shit out of him. Yeah Carter, this message is for you.

This thread was intended to harass the people posting the messages about retrofitting each f'g part from the Disco IIa to another series. At least they could have been written in one long post then people could have easily answered but it had to be done with 2 dozen differant posts and the same questions kept getting asks over and over again.

You take the good, you take the bad
you take them both and there you have
the facts of life
the facts of life

There's a time you've got to go
and show you're growing and now you know
the facts of life
the facts of life

When the world never seems
to be livin' up to your dreams
and suddenly you're finding out
the facts of life are all about you, you

It takes a lot to get 'em right
when you're learning the facts of life
learning the facts of life,
learning the facts of life

some of ya'll newbies that been surfing the discoweb bbs for less than 6 months a bitching about repeat post, like you are obligated to read it. in contrast the groups of long timers who been answering the dumb questions since the egroups email list days aren't complaining about it...

just get over it already.

Only if you want the chevy to leak everywhere and use a lot more gas with a decrease in power
May help the articulation though
