The LR dealer in Las Vegas has a 'used' '95 Range Rover for sale. It is previously untitled with less than 2000 miles on it.

Other than a few scrapes in the normal places underside (bottom of diffs) it is totally like new.

A sales guy I know there said it was purchased from 'corporate', it was a service training vehicle, so has been taken completely apart a hundred times or so, and put back together.

The sticker says 32k, but he said based on what they had to pay for it, they'd let it go for 27 or so. I believe they are warrantying it like a new vehicle.

Kind of cool seeing a 'new' '95.

LWB or new body style?

If it was an LWB that would be cool

Ron

PS if it was a new body style can you imagine the $$$$$$ involved in warranty claims over the next 3/42k!

Was this a green classic?

White classic. I went back today to take it for a drive. No intentions, perfectly happy with the disco. This thing was pretty impressive, though. It seemed better screwed together than others I've 'taken around the block', no rattles or disturbing noises. In and out, it certainly looks new.

I think it might be white. If it is white its the one they have been running around to all the 03 range press shows. They had that one.. a white 99 4.6 and the 03. it only had like 2000 miles and it sold on cyberauction for ~low 20s..

when they take those things apart they barely take anything apart mabey a trim piece here and there, and mabey probe some engine bay wires to show what sensors should show on an o-scope, awesome deal on the car it is a new car yet, and you get a rover warranty on a 95, in my thoughts best year for the classic.

Oh man, that RR is sweeet! I've been around a LOT of RR's and that one is a keeper. I know the story on it, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase that truck. IF it was an LWB I'd be mucho tempted.

Trust me, when the factory tech's are trained on that thing and put it back together it is put together WAY better than the factory ever did it in Solihull.

A museum piece for sure. Sitting in a 'new' Classic RR is a treat. I haven't taken it for a test drive, maybe I should while it's still there.

Later,

Michael
