If you turn them over, you can use your "rear fog lights" as rear work lights. Didn't know if you've noticed or not but the ones on the 2k3 are the backup lights. Works pretty cool!! |

Sounds intriguing...but I'm not following. Can you explain a bit more? |

I think that Bob is pointing out that the 2003 bumper lights have clear and amber lenses not yellow and amber like in the 2001. So using the 2003 lights in the 2001 bumper would make your rear "fogs" clear and provide better light. Is that the ticket Bob? |

You mean clear and red & amber and red, I think... So how do you 'turn them over'. Arent they the same oblong trapezoidal shape as in the other DIIs? Do you mean flip the wires? If I am not mistaken (and it is completely possible that I am) the Red lights are what light up when you turn the rear fogs on in a pre-03D2, and the clear lenses replaced the amber lenses in the 03. Sounds like it could work really cool.... |

They are the same shape. You turn over the harness that plugs into the back of the fixture. I will post some pics before the weekend. |
