I'm looking at buying the following Disco off of Ebay. I would really appreciate it if any folks in the Boston area could take a look at it. The auction ends tomorrow evening 2/01/03.

I never really gave much thought to the material of the brush guard and runners. Other than cosmetics does chrome equal less durability? I'm looking to use the Disco for off-road at least part-time. I don't want to run into components that won't take a beating.

That brush bar is just for show. If you are going to do any serious off roading, you will be replacing that, so I would not care what it is made of if I were you..... |
