The ARB page just shows you general pictures of the roof racks on Jap Crap.

Someone must have some pics of this roof rack on their truck ??

Darren there is a picture of my ARB rack on ozziesoffroad.com. Look in the photo gallery. I cant say enough about this rack except they are tough. It takes forever to get one if you can get one. If you need a better one I can E-mail you some.

Hey Charles nice rack! (LOL)
Let me know if you ever go wheelin. I also live in San Antonio, along w/ another DWebber, Doug. I'm sure he'd join in some off roading, if we all got together.

Keep in touch.

We definitely need to get together. I am free whenever. Also, March 20th Texas Rovers is going down to Big Shell. They will stop in S.A. and from here we are Coast Bound for the Drum Run. I lost Dougs E-Mail. Lets get something together this week.

Dave the only place I know of is Leon Creek by Ingram Mall. I have worked my way from Devils Den to O.P. Schnabel Park. This was about 5 years ago. Have'nt been there since. I usually go to Padre Island National Seashore (Big Shell) or my Ranch in Pipe Creek.

Charles,
Sounds good. Email me. I don't where Pipe Creek, Devils Den, ect are located. What do you know about Las Cruces, NM? See my post under Trails.

Charles:

Are those uprights (the supports and also the parts holding the horizontal bars) cast aluminum or formed sheet metal?

How does the finish hold up? It looks as if it would be harder to touch up than a black painted rack.

I am thinking that the rack is welded aluminum....correct me if I am wrong.

the rack is all steel - the beast weighs over 100 lbs - but it is very strong, and quiet at speed.

charles - sent you a mail about the missing legs from your rack

Thanks for the pics,

anybody got a front view, I'm keen to see what it looks like being elevated due to the raised rear roof section.

Any body put lights on the front also ??

Thanks

Kevin- my next scheduled outing is with Texas Rovers March 20th to Big Shell. I paid around $800 total including shipping. It took about 10 weeks. I dont think you can get one any longer because ARB is no longer shipping them in.

Alan- That picture among other this is one of the reasons I bought this rack.

John- The rack is steel. It is very solid and can hold alot of weight. I havent had to touch it up as of yet the paint so far has held up to alot of abuse.

Steve- you are correct very little wind noise. I got your mail regarding the other legs. The middle bracket is not necessary because I have a thick piece of rubber between the rack and the luggage rack rails. Doing this allows me to put more weight without having to worry about the gutters.

Darren- The great thing about this rack is it can be raised and lowered to accomadte the rear sunroof. There are places to put lights. I have the lights just to lazy to put them on.
