I just bought a 98 Disco with 77k miles that I bought as a toy/bad weather car. Well as it ends up, I don't really drive the car that much. But when I do I usually put a few hundred miles on it in a weekend. Is this bad for the car to sit, sometimes it might be as long as a three weeks to a month inbetween drives. Is there anything I should do? I always let it warm up when I do dive it. But other then that is there anything else?

put your maintenance on a time schedule not a mileage based one.

always make sure to park it with a topped off full gas tank to prevent condensation

air up the tires to like 50psi to prevent severe flatspoting

and drive it like you stole it and have fun when you do get the chance:)

Change your engine oil frequently as water condensation will cause major problems. I'd say at least once every three months.
