First, a quick intro. My name is Jeff and I recenlty purchased a 1989 RRC. I had the good fortune of buying a brush bar from John C who helped me install it. Thanks again John. BTW, I put in a set of Bosch Platinum Plus 4 spark plugs and the truck does 70 mph uphill. Anyway, I bought a set of OME spring from a guy on E Bay. They were supposed to be 762's and 760's. He listed them as heavy duty rears and medium duty fronts from a Disco 1. When I got them they turned out to be 751's and 752's which are heavy duty fronts for Rangies and light duty rears for Defender 110's. The Defender 110 rears worry me a bit although the seller assures me that they will be fine. My thought is that since the Defender 110 is quite large everything will be ok. By the way, the seller is from Northwest Parts.Com. Thanks in advance for any insight, Jeff from New Jersey |

I could be wrong...but, I think rear 110 springs are unique to that vehicle, they don't fit other Land Rovers. Maybe they are just taller but also check the diameter of all four springs, they need to be the same for a Classic. Also check: http://www.expeditionexchange.com/ome/springguide.htm |
