Does anyone have a GPS system for a palm pilot? I have a compaq ipaq and have seen them for sale and they looked good. If anyone has one or knows something about them all input would be appreciated!

Thanks
Chris

Why not just buy normal GPS unit? A palm isn't waterproof.

With a Palm or Windows CE, you can buy a waterproof case and use real color maps and underlays. For a vehicle, this is way superior. Especially when you can include raster DOQQ or DRG files. Please tell me which consumer grade GPS can do that?

I don't know. My GPS is tied to a mil-spec external antenna and a Sony Vaio (14" screen) laptop running Delorme SA2003, SA8, and Topo3. Works well for me. I keep my palm for contacts and my calendar.
