Have any of you guys heard about the cabablities of the new cross land due to come out in the summer. It seems to be well priced for what your getting.

Interested to see if they are actually letting them go for that really low price they were talking about. What were they saying?? Under 20K??

No doubt, now there is an official confirmation that they are on our shores and at the dealer's lots I'm sure they are going to be EVERYWHERE very soon.

One thing I find interesting though, the green fully kitted out version on the website...no mistaking what vehicle that was designed to emulate. The aluminum wing protectors, rack, tools etc. I want to ask Hampton, VA dealer to bring one out to an event..

I have had one since 1995 when they were first shipped to the US . Then they not the company Cross Lander but ARO. They were never sold due to DOT. I got mine from this guy who got them at the port in Jax, FL. He bought 6 of them. I got one and some old man in Colo. got the rest for his farm. What I have is an ARO (same thing as the cross lander just diffrent name). They changer the name and some other things and now they are selling in the US. I don't drive it much since i have the disco, but it is a great toy in the mud.I have had it in some good river beds and clay pits and it works fine. It has one of the best 4x4 I've played in. If any one is near me. I am in jax, Fl. you can come check it out. The same guy who tryed to import the ARO in 1995 is the same guy running the show in Miami, Fl for Cross Lander.

Cool Travis, I would like to see some interior pics of it as well as some next to your disco, I'm interested in seeing how big/small they are (you can't get a very good idea from those pics they have on their web page where it is against a plain white background).

A dealer here in Savannah, GA told me they were going to start selling them this month. I have not seen them in their lot yet but I will give you an update when I see one.

FYI, just got off the phone with the dealer in Reidsville, NC. They're now saying he'll have trucks in April, the holdup has been faulty A/C systems holding up production supposedly.

First run colors will be White, Amazon Green and Silver, second run colors will be red, yellow and black. Accessories will be available about the same time from the dealers; snorkels, racks, wheels/tires (odd bolt pattern), other stuff.

I would love to see those pics too. If we can't get a Defender for a lower price...we might need one of those! I love they look of them (hmm, wonder why!).
