Hello,

I'm trying to find good off roading tires for my 96 range rover 4.0 SE for my 16" wheels. But most of the recommended tires are a little bit taller then the stock tire size. I was looking at Dunlop Rover R/T 265/75/16 but I think they will be a little bit big to fit them. Could any one recommend a good off road tires for 265/65/16 or know a bigger tire but the one that will fit.

Thanks

well for "good" offroad tires, I would recommend something from the Interco line.....

The SSR's have a "close" tire at 265/70/16

Of course these will have a short "road life" (although longer than other swampers) and would be best as off-road only tires.

try 4wheelparts.com they have they for $187 each. I would suggest shopping around throught the onliine tire dealers and finding the best price.

My 245/75's rub when in 'get in' mode. the 265's i had on for a day rubbed horribly in all modes except 'high'.

the 245/75/16 is not bad, and they ride great. i bought the wild country txr. incredible in snow.

let me know if you have any questions.

I have a question - what's the problem? Your tires are too damn big.
