So what's the story on the flipped SUV on this trail? |

We were coming back down the trail and found the Chevy laying down there, luckily with no occupants. From the other pics, you can tell there is a small cross axle on the hard rock that slants off to creek bed. Apparently he made it up the obstacle went a little further up the trail and turned around and flipped when he came back down. Judging by the position and what the owner later recounted, the ass end of the Chevy shifted to the side, pulled him off the trail, stood the vehicle upright before flipping backwards and then on its side. The cab landed right on top of some serious rocks--the occupants were fortunate to walk away from this one. Of course our group all recieved a spot coming down those rocks. Damn sobering experience. |
