I've searched through the archives and found some of the info I'm looking for, but I'm interested in more people's opinions on the use of these two tanks. My understanding is they are both a high pressure tank for CO2 use, double gauge regulator (adjustable from 0-150PSI), guard for the regulator and then a hose and chuck. I've seen the PT-15lbs for as low as $330+S/H but I've seen the 4WheelAir-20lbs for $275 shipped. I know some people have used one or the other and I'd be interested in your opinion. I'd also like to hear of anyone comparing the two side by side and what they liked/disliked about each. thanks! pwc |

I have the trail air and have been more than pleased w/ it. its a no frills set up. i think, from what i can remember the powertank has some extra accessories but thats it. but given price and simplicity id say the trail air is the way to go |

I have the Power Tank and I really like it. I've not used the TailAir, but it looks like it will do the job too. |

Thanks Mike and Nick. So far, with a score of 1 and 1, it sounds like either will work fine. pwc |

I just bought a 20 lb Co2 tank off Ebay for a $100 bucks. I don't think it'll be a problem modifying it to fill up tires or powering air tools. -Chris |
