CD-changer Lockup

(Disco' 96 stock Radio/CD changer) I was fussing with the radio trying to install an onboard computer. When I reconnected the radio, and punch in the code, when i hit 'band' to get the CD changer. It seem to reconize the CD changer but it seems like it doesnt reconize the CDs i have in there, all the light for the discs are darken. I also notice before, when i insert the CD magazine, it would flip through to see the CD count, now when i insert the cd magazine it dosent flip through it. Any clue on how i could fix this? That happened to me a couple times when I would put the cds face up instead of face down.
