Hello my name is (insert name here) and I'm addicted to ______.

It all started when I saw my friends using _____. They all looked so cool, I just knew that I had to try a _____. So I asked a friend about _____, and he directed me to a dealer.

The dealer was really friendly at first and let me try my first one for free. It was complete euphoria. I went ahead and bought one. Well from then on my dealer never gave me anything else for free again, but it was too late. I realized that I had a problem. First, I noticed that I was spending a lot of money on my ______ addiction every month. I gave up things that I used to enjoy just so I could spend more time and money feeding my addiction. Then my friends began to alienate me. They did not understand my addiction.

Now I have nothing. My friends still have not come around, the dealer is only after my money which I do not have because of my _____ addiction, and my addiction gets me no where. I just sit idle everyday wondering what I can do to fix it, make things right! But I just cannot move forward!

Alas, I have no answer, and my addiction to _____ has left me in ruins. Please, don't let this happen to any of your friends or loved ones. If they try just one they will become addicted to!

JUST SAY NO!

Good luck.

Roverine, just pointing out similarities between disco addiction and other addictions. (sorry that you missed the point and needed it explained to you!)
And Dean, it was merely a venting of sorts just to point out a few connections between various addictions. No it was not a cure for cancer, or a beginning to world peace, I am sorry that I could not come up with any of those answers, it was just a posting on a web site where people are supposed to be friendly and share a sense of comrodary.
Compared to 'what type of stickers I have on my Disco', and 'what is a heavy drinker', I thought maybe it would just be food for thought or even fun. I am sorry you feel my posting is a waste of time. I did not mean to offend anyone, I just thought it would be fun.
Please don't be so negative in the future. Thanks. And oh, I already have 3 dogs, and yes I like to type.
Good Day Friends.

Leslie, I think that recognition probably chased us all off! So many addictions, so little time and less money....wags, we share too much!
