My muffler has cracked off at the flange. Can I replace just the muffler or do I have to replace the whole exhaust??

Who has the best price on exhaust parts???

Dan try a local muffler shop, and not Midas. A shop that specializes in custom exhaust systems.

are you talking about the muffler (in the middle of the exhaust) or the resonator (at the end of the exhaust). just to clarify. if it is the resonator just hack it off and put a new piece of pipe on the end. done. :-)

No, it's the muffler in the middle of the exhaust. I see on AtlanticBritish that you can buy just the muffler for $250, who else would carry them???

Check out GAPA.com. They carry a lot of aftermarket high quality products for LR and do carry mufflers $100 or so. If you go here make sure you know the LR part # and I suggest calling toll free #. You can take the muffler to Midas (sorry Dean...) and they will weld it on for about $40.

Unless of course you have loads of cash and can afford the custom exhaust shops. Contrary to popular belief, most Disco owners aren't loaded. We just have an appreciation for fine British 4x4's and a desire to know how the hell our rig scoots.

Thanks for the info Corey. I'll grab the part number tonight and see if they can help me.
