Does anyone know how to replace the transducer speed sensor? Where is it located and is it an easy operation? I am intermittently experiencing a brief hesitation or cut out of power when accelerating at highway speeds in my 97' Disco. Thanks, Nick |

My Bad! I realize now that the transducer is also known as the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). I ordered one from Nathan @ Discountrovers.com and will install it this weekend. This is my first project! Many more to come. |

Hi Nick, When our VSS went faulty all that happened was that the speedo started working intermittently and then eventually died. It had no effect on the performance of the vehicle. I doubt if this is going to solve your problem. http://www.worst4x4.freeservers.com |
