My complaint about Mr. William J. Turner

I am angry. Angry that events have transpired that lead me to write this statement. Let me begin by saying that there is something grievously wrong with those self-centered mafia dons who clear-cut ancient forest lands. Shame on the lot of them! That fact is simply inescapable to any thinking man or woman. "Thinking" is the key word in the previous sentence. To parody the old song, "Fish gotta swim, Mr. William J. Turner gotta reduce social and cultural awareness to a dictated set of guidelines to follow." Ancient Greek dramatists discerned a peculiar virtue in being tragic. Turner would do well to realize that they never discerned any virtue in being asinine.

He doesn't care one whit about how others might feel. This is not rhetoric. This is reality. Yes, Virginia, there are some simple truths in this world. First, until we challenge his ridiculous assumptions about merit, he will continue to justify, palliate, or excuse the evils of his heart. Second, even Turner must concede that we must continue to monitor his lickspittles and expose them as the sententious hucksters they are. And finally, I do not propose a supernatural solution to the problems we're having with him. Instead, I propose a practical, realistic, down-to-earth approach that requires only that I establish clear, justifiable definitions of emotionalism and classism, so that you can defend a decision to take action when Turner's apostles overthrow democratic political systems.

How can we trust unprincipled, irresponsible menaces who actively conceal their true intentions? We can't. And besides, his cronies' thinking is fenced in by many constraints. Their minds are not free because they dare not be. I don't just contend that Turner has a certain fondness for hypersensitive vandals; I can back that up with facts. For instance, Turner wallows in his basest behavior. We can therefore extrapolate that Turner is the picture of the insane person on the street, babbling to a tree, a wall, or a cloud, which cannot and does not respond to his perorations.

He wants to befuddle the public and make sin seem like merely a sophisticated fashion. You know what groups have historically wanted to do the same thing? Fascists and Nazis. Turner sometimes uses the word "unexceptionableness" when describing his perversions. Beware! This is a buzzword designed for emotional response.

His peons often reverse the normal process of interpretation. That is, they value the unsaid over the said, the obscure over the clear. Turner's underlings argue that honor counts for nothing. These are the same lascivious troglodytes who create profound emotional distress for people on both sides of the issue. This is no coincidence; Turner is locked into his present course of destruction. He does not have the interest or the will to change his fundamentally duplicitous ballyhoos.

When I first encountered his ploys, all I could think of was, "He is proposing a cure for which there is no disease or, more likely, a disease for which there is no cure." I must point out that I have a dream that my children will be able to live in a world filled with open spaces and beautiful wilderness -- not in a dark, petty world run by nerdy lounge lizards. Where are the solid statistics that prove that the best way to make a point is with foaming-at-the-mouth rhetoric and letters filled primarily with exclamation points? I've never seen any. Yet, I oppose his allegations because they are hidebound. I oppose them because they are intrusive. And I oppose them because they will deploy enormous resources in a war of attrition against helpless citizens in the near future.

When Turner is gone, all that will be left from his legacy of hate is the hate itself. And I can say that with a clear conscience, because I frequently talk about how Turner will just moan and groan until we give him permission to cast ordinary consumption and investment decisions in the light of high religious purpose. I would drop the subject, except that he leaves me no choice but to put myself in harm's way. I always catch hell whenever I say something like that, so let me assure you that his perspective is that no one is smart enough to see through his transparent lies. My perspective, in contrast, is that if you intend to challenge someone's assertions, you need to present a counterargument. Turner provides none. Turner files one grievance after another. Why? That's easy. Turner's statements such as "Turner is always being misrepresented and/or persecuted" indicate that we're not all looking at the same set of facts. Fortunately, these facts are easily verifiable with a trip to the library by any open and honest individual. Essentially, he has never gotten ahead because of his hard work or innovative ideas. Rather, all of his successes are due to kickbacks, bribes, black market double-dealing, outright thuggery, and unsavory political intrigue.

As part of his efforts to gain a mainstream following, Turner publishes the Journal of Pernicious Militarism. Included alongside articles discussing history, culture, art, religion, and philosophy are endorsements of Turner's plans to destroy our youths' ability to relax, reflect, study, and meditate. He has spent untold hours trying to lead an active disinformation campaign. During that time, did it ever once occur to him that his policies bespeak a spiritual crassness, a materialistic and short-sighted stupidity that will depressurize the frail vessel of human hopes by the next full moon? No, don't guess; this isn't audience participation day. I'll just tell you. But before I do, you should note that his supporters believe that his imprecations enhance performance standards, productivity, and competitiveness. Although it is perhaps impossible to change the perspective of those who have such beliefs, I wish nevertheless to feed the starving, house the homeless, cure the sick, and still find wonder and awe in the sunrise and the moonlight.

This state of affairs demands the direct assault on those pea-brained ramblings that seek to traduce and discredit everyone but unsympathetic, crazy riffraff. If Turner succeeds in his attempt to gain a respectable foothold for his slatternly shenanigans, it'll have to be over my dead body. His patter is smooth and quite practiced. He can fast-talk you into believing you'd be better off if you participated in his effort to impose bad-tempered new restrictions on society just to satisfy some sort of superstitious drive for power. However, Turner's ravings fall apart upon reflection.

To restate the obvious: He pompously claims that he can walk on water. That sort of nonsense impresses many people, unfortunately. Although this has been overlooked or ignored by the established scientific community, if Fate desired that Turner make a correct application of what he had read about nihilism, it would have to indicate title and page number, since the disreputable fool would otherwise never in all his life find the correct place. But since Fate does not do this, to believe that drugged-out energumens make the best scout leaders and schoolteachers is to deceive ourselves. With all due respect, I recently heard him tell a bunch of people that two wrongs make a right. I can't adequately describe my first reaction to this notion; I simply don't know how to represent uncontrollable laughter in text. Help me recall the ideals of compassion, nonviolence, community, and cooperation. Join your hands with mine in this, the greatest cause of our time.

This is TOO weird! I said the same thing only this morning.....Not only that, but recently, in a clear attempt at deflection, he changed his name.

I have been looking for that web site for FOUR years now....someone sent me a letter way back in 97, and I was floored while reading it. Later I got a call that the entire letter was a hoax, and a link to the web site that allowed users to generate letters like this. The orginal site was removed due to some WILD, MEAN, CRAZY, problems that surfaced because people were sending these letters to friends without first letting them know that it was a silly childs play.... well, now it appears that a copy site is back up and running.....Thanks BJTurner...Now I can have some fun this weekend...!
