After about 2 months of talkng with the wife, I finally convinced her to let me modify the range rover. It is currently as stock as they come. I never worked on anything newer than my 96 disco so I'm not sure whether I am capable of doing all of the work by myself, but I want to do it all to spend more on parts less on labor and learn all about the vehicle . I want to make this as most capable as I can with about a 7500 dollar budget give or take. The type of wheelin I do with this truck is mainly rocky AZ desert with 2-3 foot deep streams and the soft sand of glamis CA. No Snow and there is really not that much mud around here. Any suggestions with what type of parts, accesories or whatever would be cool. BTW it is a 2002 Range Rover

2002 huh?? Thats going to be pretty cool with another $7,500 or so pumped into it. You don't see many modified ones that are that new.

Yeah I keep it dirty all the time so people don't really know what it is. I'm part of the anti-yuppie crowd.
Check this link out I emailed them about seeing if they would make my bumpers and sliders. Anyone with any expeirence with bulletproof bumpers on there jeeps please comment. If they can build em I'm going to ask if they can do em for my disco also.

I've got an inside source on getting them cheap. My best friend was actually doing the machine work on those back in High School and he knows the owners really well.

Well after a long night's sleep I figured the first place to start was to put Guiness on draft in the garage to attract potential help. The mini-bar is being installed in 2 weeks.

I'm in cave creek get back next week from WA. The Mini bar is gonna be SWEET. I probably start the project mid march. Got a big list of honey-do bullshit that's got get taken care of first, well 2nd after the mini bar, I had to make a lot of promises before she would consider to let me do this and I think I heard something about wanting a waterfall flowing into the swimming pool, I wasn't listening to well all I could think about was new front and rear lockers. I'll email you when time gets close.

BTW my wife is an excellent cook.

noble? I see it as a must do project so all those yuppies won't think there newer completley stock range rover is as bad as they come and so I can alter there idea of what owning a Land Rover truley means.
