I live in Savannah, GA but get in touch with the guys at the Rover Club House (www.roverclubhouse.com I think). They are in Durham. I went on a little day trip with them about a month ago. All very nice, knowledgable and helpful. The shop is well stocked and by the looks of it they are doing good business. Larry was the "leader" for the day and works there. I know your plight, I went through 2 FJ40's before I got into LR's. Don't get me wrong, I love all the FJ series but you just can not beat a LR. If you are looking for a vintage LR let me know. | ||

Hey Bob, There are quite a few guys here from Charlotte. I have a 96 DI and have only taken it to Hendrick Landrover once. I have not really done any research in the area to find a mechanic. I have used this board and the vast knowledge the members provide, to fix any problems that have come up. This is by far, the best online source for information. I could be wrong, but there isn't a Charlotte club that I have seen. I think the closest is like Matt said. Good luck in finding your Disco and hope to see you out there. Ken | ||

Bob, I'm in Charlotte. I've had great success with LR Charlotte. Seem to know their way around and alot of them are car buffs themselves. I don't belong to any Charlotte based clubs, but there are some here if that's what you're after. Alot are Jeep based, but they like to wheel and that's what's important.
