Hello,
If anyone can get me a photo of the ends of the original D2 hydraulic hose from the power steering pump to the steering box, could you please post them up here. None of the local dealerships have one for me to look at and they won't get one in without sale (fair enough I guess).
I just want to make sure before I install a hydraulic winch.

Thanks IA
Dean

Dean:
Curiously, the fittings on the ZFpumps (DI at least) are identical to those on GM pumps. It is a 1/4" "Bump" fitting.

Paul

I'm not very clear about these things. Is the PAS pump on a D2 a ZF pump? Or is the ZF an upgraded pump? And if its an upgrade, do the hoses match or are they also changed?

Thanks

Dean

I'm not sure about the Series IIs, but most of the recent Rovers have ZF brand power steering pumps. Quick and easy (although presumptive) check is to look for the ZF trademark on the reservoir.

I think it would be fairly safe to assume that they will have the same fittings as it is an industry standard and also standard for many of the hard-line plumbing on the Rovers.
