I just bought my 2000 disco yesterday (and loving it). Unfortunately, it lacks the dual sunroof option. Has anyone added a aftermarket (or factory) sunroof to their disco? I am really liking the new headlights on the '03 disco's... Is is possible to retrofit these lamps to an older disco II? I know everyone will tell me to just get a '03 disco with dual sunroofs ;). Justin, This board has an archive and search function that is accessable to the left <------------- Both of those issues have been addressed here before quite a few times. do a search to find out as much info as you like. Quick, aftermarket sunroofs leak, depending on who you talk to, and 03 light have not been prooven to fit DII's. | ||

duuude. I have two sunroofs you can have! DON'T DO IT ! They leak, rattle and will eventually stop working completely - stuck open of course - so it sounds like you're inside a vacuum cleaner when you drive and you get to experience all sorts of precipitation while inside your vehicle. Be glad you don't have the sunroofs. As for the lights? Just don't. -Vic | ||

I posted a question about the lights about a month ago "How to make a D1 look like a D2". Didn't get a very good response... seems that there isn't a lot of knowledge about aftermarket shops that deal with LR. I see custom lights in Jap cars all the time, but nuthin for LR. Appears that is the only option cause the 03 lights don't fit the early year Ds.  | ||

Thanks for the replies... Yeah, I have looked for more info on the 03 lights to no avail. Just a lot of talk. I will think again about the sunroof options... I really don't care much about opening them, just more about getting the additional light open air feeling. -vanroth | ||

I don't see why people like those honda euro lights. I personally wouldn't change out for those. Your truck comes with what you bought it with. Instead of spending money on that crap spend it on 4x4 mods. Everyone should expierence driving with lockers |
