Hi guys, I put about a 2 inch gash in my bumper today (2001 Discovery Series 2 sd) when I ran into the back of someone on the freeway. Does anyone know how much a replacement will cost, of if these type of bumpers can be "fixed" in any way. Thanks. John |

I have a 98 D1 and my truck was hit by another vehicle. I took it to the dealership to have the repairs done and my rear bumper is 1017.00. That was a shocker, I'm glad I don't have to pay for it. |

Ditch that thing and get a real bumper. RoverTym makes one for your truck. You'll never worry about minor fender-benders again, and it'll cost less than a real replacement. And it's winch ready. Good luck, -P |

John, I can't stress enough what Perrone Stated. Purchase an aftermarket bumper that is not built out of plastic. Checkout: www.4x4connection.com www.rovertym.com www.expeditionexchange.com paul |

John, the SD front is about $360 and the SE style is about $500. Dealers will be a little more. |

John, I just replaced the bumper on my '02 SD w/ an ARB bull bar. The stock bumper is like new, and I was going to keep it "just in case," but I'd consider selling it. Send me an email if you're interested. |
