Lifting a Series 1 Disco

Heaps of info on this site which is so helpful!! I want peoples opinion on rasing a disco. I have the OME 2" lift on it and want more!!! I dont mind having to make modifications to the bodywork. Is a 2" body lift the way to go. I really want to get about 4" total lift. It looks pretty time consuming, but not a lot of skill is needed (just have to be able to cut a straight line). That might fix the need for bigger tires - it gives an extra 2-3 inches in fender clearance. What happens around the door arch, does that need to be cut as well? If so that means that there will be a hole and the panel will be weaker. I know that the flare covers the hole but.••••••• ideas?
