Been looking for a long time for a Land Rover either Disco or RRC and last week came close but couldnt pull the trigger. Anyway I am looking at over 15 inches of snow on the ground and wish I had a Land Rover !! |

So Bob what's stopping you? If you don't like it just sell it, but I bet you won't . I've enjoyed owning a Land Rover more than any truck or car, and I've had quite a few. Even with the "usual" associated problems with LR ownership they are still unique, fun and enjoyable to own. |

bob you wont feel they are unreliable once you own one and learn to work on it...infact you will feel they opposite. they are simple trucks and way easier to work on then just about anything out there. the components are big and simple as well. just dive in and dont look back. thom |

Yea I am trying I thought I had my 1996 Audi A4 sold but it looks as if the buyer is backing out and that was my cash flow for the LR this sucks especially when the person promises up and down that he wants the car ! Most people are full of shit IMHO |

Bob- Muskyman is correct that with a good manual many things are DYI. I am not really good at diagnosing yet but this BBS and others has really helped me. Funny you mention snow, my neighbor has a 02' Audi and it goes through snow like an Artic Cat. He has an uphill driveway about 1800 feet long and has never got stuck since he bought it. Sometimes the snow is going over his hood when he is really hauling. Muskyman- By chance are you near Palatine Ill? S- 92' RR |
