just fitted 4.6 litre and re chipped ecu to disco auto. fantastic performance. simple conversion
engine is a straight swap apart from 17mm spacer on front pulley supplied wuth the engine. You have to upgrade the ecu chip to alter the fueling.
The performance is sub 9 sec 0 to 60 and the torque has to be felt to be believed.And off road it will do almost anything on tickover low box.For more info see www.v8engines.com an fantastic company here in the uk that know everything about landrover v8's

I have looked into it for my 4.0 D1 and the entire conversion excepting the $1000 labor cost is appromately $4000. That could vary depending on the periphals that you need to change like radiator, etc.
