I'm in. I have to work on the 8th, but I'll go to work packed up and ready to leave for Truckhaven.

I'll probably get there in time for dinner and the 3rd round of Tequila. :-)

Ah, sh ...oot. Ya just had to mention the "T" word. Holy moly, I got some committments I need to get out of. Going to have to move heaven and earth. Man, I will. Especially if "The Fox Whisperer" is going to be there (he's the king, but I'm the queen, LOL). Anyone check what kind of moon we're going to have? Just guessing ... maybe only a half? :-)

I'll be out in Hemet stopping the evil Hun that weekend.

Wave as you pass the Jack Rabbit Trails exit on the 60. Around 11AM or so, the ground charges should be cooking off... :-)

Maybe you'll see me on the drive home on Sunday. It's not hard to miss a IIA holding up traffic West bound.

I don't know if it would be different for truckhaven (i've never been before), but I always go to borrego through escondido past lake henshaw and through Ranchita. Then down the mountain into Borrego Springs. I'd assume I'd just go the same way and keep heading east past ocotillo.

Well, not sure what the deal is yet for me - I injured my knee and have been hobbling around for almost 2 weeks now. I'm on my way now to see how soon I can get it repaired (I don't think major, just orthoscopic). So ... if I do show, I'll be limited to say the least. If I can't, I'll send some goodies for all of you out with someone from the OC crew. :-)

You do not need your knee -- this is not Easter Pilgrimage; you just need your feet.

You planning on being there on Sunday?

Well, if I can get released from work by Saturday late afternoon (which I doubt), *and* x-y-z falls into place (which I doubt), I would like to imagine that I would be there late Saturday night.

Ho: Save me a bite to eat?

ok, meeting place....

from HWY86, head west on "Marina Drive North"
follow the asphalt road until it ends, you will see that the road goes between the 2 little hills.

let's meet there. by the 2 little hills. 2PM.

whoever arrives there first, make sure to be waiting on a spot that is easily visible from that dirt road.

Ken-

I'm planning on bringing my own food. With this type of event that is largely unplanned, it's best to fend for one's self. If you'd like to bring some extra to share, that's fine too.

i am not sure if i will cook. hell, i don't even know how to cook. all i do is the cave man thing. just throw stuff on the fire. :-)

and let's not get distracted here, H2 is what's for dinner.

We're going. I'm still limited with the leg problem, however all will be fine (i.e. object is no burdens for myself or others). We'll see how far our activities go :-). - No kids with Greg & I this time.

Not yet sure of departure & arrival time Sat. ... Are you setting up camp first, or wheeling first? Have plans been set yet for which spot to set camp? (i.e. will it be the usual, or not?)

let's meet near the 2 "moguls"... near where corva sets up their main camp... at about 2PM.
then we can go play here and there, and before sundown, we set camp.

we'll camp at "uno palm" area. if it's taken like last time, we can go to "no palms." :-)

we'll be on CB channel 4.
my cell phone works there sometimes: 213-400-0838
