D1 Transfer Case stuck in High

I Was pulling tree stumps a couple of months ago and all was well, I made sure to unwind it before shifting back into high but now, a couple of months later, it won't budge. I understand that there's a safety interlock solenoid, is there any way to test that? Can it be removed completely? The dealer repaired it.
