'94 D1 running/driving fine but can't get the transfer case out of high, although I can engage and disengage diff lock easily. I Was pulling tree stumps a couple of months ago and all was well, I made sure to unwind it before shifting back into high but now, a couple of months later, it won't budge.
I understand that there's a safety interlock solenoid, is there any way to test that? Can it be removed completely?
Thanks,
Vic
(I searched the archives but didn't find anything on this)

On my '94 there was a 12 pin? wiring connector behind the glovebox that was corroded. The dealer repaired it.
