Does any one know the location of the Airconditioning thermostat in a 96 Disco. I suspect it could be faulty. A\C seems to cut out for some time. It was recently regassed. I fed a 12 volts direct to the compressor and it cuts in ok, so the problem is before the compressor. I was told that a faulty thermostat could cause this intermitant cut out. I don't think it's the pressure switch causing the prob. thanks in advance |

I'm not sure that the fan switch would necessrily cause this failure, but the switch for the fans should be in the thermostat housing. Peace, Paul PS: I too am obsessed! |
