Just had to share...I'm excited.
Just got done installing a new front bumper. I got this already cut one from Dave Lucus and I painted it black, his was white, and bada bing!
Did it by myself and it took about 4 hours to do. I am very happy with it and I can have my stock one if I decide to sell or something, who knows.

I used the fog wires to connect the Hella's on the bruch bar so I can run them from the factory fog switch on the dash.

Sure looks better on your DII than in the corner of my garage.

And no pics of the new sliders? :-(

And what about Dave's new bumper. Assume you made the front one now? Would like to see that too.

Here are some pics of my front bumper, it is constructed out of 3/16 steel. As you can see from the pics I have lots of clearance in the front, I tested it on Behind the Rocks this weekend and it never even touched on any obstacles. I do not have a winch yet so I did not include a winch tray, but I have plans to add one in the future. The two recovery points are bolted through the back of the bumper as well as welded on the front for added strength. I may add an A-bar or some type of brush bar in the future But I am not sure yet.

Sorry for the size of the pics, guess it is time to send Ho some pics so I can get a gallery.

OK, here are the sliders. Dave made them for me and I have not had a chance to use them yet but they are beefy and solid but look stock so they are perfect.
They have anti-skid tape on the top to you can step on them and not slip. 11 bolts each side and they use the existing holes, 3\16" steel curved to the body!

Dave does good work!!!

Prescott,

Thanks for all of the kind compliments about my work, but it says you surf discoweb for a living, so that would make you my hero.

Eric,
Glad you like them, now get out and use them! :-)
