Of course, she knows nothing about J**ps, other than the fact that she likes hers. I don't live down there anymore so don't know of any independent shops in the area. Can anyone help me out here? She's a hardworking student that doesn't have a grand to have this work done - and, as usual, I doubt that $1000 is a fair price for this. So, if anyone has a friend that has friend that used to drive a J**p I would greatly appreciate any leads. It never hurts to replace the wheel bearings on a high-mileage truck, but just tell her to take it to any regular shop.
